Thoughts after SuperBowl LVIII

Good Morning Team,

What a great game yesterday!!! As we recover from our superbowl parties, I wanted to start the week with something I think could help inspire us as we strive to create better lives and careers.

I'm sure a lot of you know the story of 49ers Quarterback Brock Purdy, Mr. Irrelevant. Brock was the 262nd pick in the draft, the last pick of the entire NFL. He was the 3rd string QB for the 49ers, but with team injuries, Brock got a starting try and won all 5 regular season games he started and secured an NFC championship appearance. This year he led his team to the superbowl.

I believe it was Brock's perseverance and belief in self that led him from becoming the most irrelevant player in the NFL to arguably one of the most relevant players this year.

Are we persevering?  Working hard every day to reach our goals? Do we believe in ourselves?

I love this quote by David Goggins

“Success is based off of your willingness to work your ass off no matter what obstacles are in your way.”

Let's channel our inner Brock this week,  persevere in what you do and believe you are the one to do it!!
